Here is a detailed record of every Ball’s purpose and proceeds:
The First Charity Ball:
- Purpose: Julia Zakrocka’s surgery. Julia suffers from AMC. She was two and half years old at the time and our aim was to give her a chance for an independent life in the future.
- Date: 2003, 1st March
- Amount raised: 88, 909.01 PLN
The Second Charity Ball:
- Purpose: Purchasing AbiPrism – specialist medical equipment with reagents, (which saves the lives of at least 20 children per year), and further equipment for the rehabilitation room in the Children Oncological Hospital in Wrocław.
- Date: 2004, 17th January
- Amount raised: 273,758.50 PLN
The Third Charity Ball:
- Purpose: Purchasing equipment for Intensive Care, (two respirators, oscillator, apparatus for modern dental RTG, 12 infusion pumps, and an autoclave), for the Children’s Hospital in Wrocław (Dolnośląski Szpital Dziecięcy im. J. Korczaka we Wrocławiu).
- Date: 2005, 15th January
- Amount raised: 417,333.26 PLN
The Fourth Charity Ball:
- Purpose: Founding and equipping a new Early brain damage diagnosis and infant pathology centre, (diffusion pumps, apparatus for nervous duct examination, respirators, anaesthesia apparatus, USG, infusion pumps, sensors, modules), at the Children’s Hospital in Wrocław (Dolnośląski Szpital Dziecięcy im. J. Korczaka we Wrocławiu).
- Date: 2006, 13th January
- Amount raised: 547,674.01 PLN
The Fifth Charity Ball:
- Purpose: Purchasing a neonatology ambulance equipped with modern equipment for saving newborns and equipping the resuscitation and intensive care unit at the Children’s Hospital in Wrocław (Dolnośląski Szpital Dziecięcy im. J. Korczaka we Wrocławiu).
- Date: 2007, 13th January.
- Amount raised: 805,183.31 PLN
The Sixth Charity Ball:
- Purpose: Purchasing high class equipment for endoscopy diagnosis and respiratory tracts examination apparatus, gastroscopy, EEG, infants’ respirators and incubators at the Children’s Hospital in Wrocław (Dolnośląski Szpital Dziecięcy im. J. Korczaka we Wrocławiu).
- Date: 2008, 19th January
- Amount raised: 990,602.80 PLN
The Seventh Charity Ball:
- Purpose: Purchasing the most modern portable computer tomography for children to equip the Children’s Hospital in Wrocław (Dolnośląski Szpital Dziecięcy im. J. Korczaka we Wrocławiu).
- Date: 2009, 16th January
- Amount raised: 1,545,016.99 PLN
The Eighth Charity Ball:
- Purpose: Purchasing Cool Cap technology.
- Date: 2010, 16th January
- Amount raised: 1,491,571.09 PLN
The Ninth Charity Ball:
- Purpose: 80% of the proceeds to fund an MRI scanner for the Children’s Hospital in Wrocław (former Dolnośląski Szpital Dziecięcy im. J. Korczaka we Wrocławiu) , 10% to the “Przylądek Nadziei” (Cape of Hope Hospital), 10% to Julka Zakrocka.

- Amount raised: 1 886 456,71 PLN
The Tenth Charity Ball:
- Purpose: 80% of the proceeds to fund a Digital RTG, 10% to the Przylądek Nadziei” (Cape of Hope Hospital), 10% to Julka Zakrocka.
- Date: 2012, 13th January
- Amount raised: 2 202 410,29 PLN
The Eleventh Charity Ball:
- Purpose: 80% of the proceeds to the Korczak Children’s Hospital, 10% to the Przylądek Nadziei” (Cape of Hope Hospital), 10% to Julka Zakrocka.
- Date: 2013, 19th January
- Amount raised: 1 808 756,43 PLN
The Twelfth Charity Ball:
- Purpose: 80% of the proceeds to the Korczak Children’s Hospital, 10% to the Przylądek Nadziei” (Cape of Hope Hospital), 10% to Julka Zakrocka.
- Date: 2014, 18th January.
- Amount raised: 1 454 505,78 PLN
The Thirteenth Charity Ball
- Purpose: 70% Korczak Pavilion at the Gromkowski Regional Specialist Hospital in Wroclaw, 15% The Department of Girls’ Gynaecology at the Wroclaw Department and Clinic of Gynaecology and Obstetrics in The Medical University in Wroclaw,15% – The Health Care Foundation.
