Dear Sir or Madam,
The year 2016 is a special time for the city if Wroclaw and its residents.
More than a thousand cultural events associated with the title of the European Capital of Culture will take place in the city. Furthermore, the European Handball Championship –a major sport event – is scheduled in Wroclaw at the beginning of the 2016. Altogether, these events unable us to organize the Charity Ball at the Centennial Hall – the venue that has become a symbol of this annual event.
Unfortunately, many weeks devoted to searching for an alternative venue that would suit the Ball have not brought any positive outcomes.
Therefore I would like to inform you that the next Charity Ball will be held in 2017.
We have already booked the Centennial Hall for February 3th 2018.
Thanks to your generous help, in 2016 we will undertake numerous charitable activities, and support the following ventures:
– Korczak Pavilion at the Gromkowski Regional Specialist Hospital in Wroclaw,
– The Department of Girls’ Gynaecology at the Wroclaw Department and Clinic of Gynaecology and Obstetrics in The Medical University in Wroclaw,
– The Health Care Foundation.
Together we can change the World for the better, support the weak and the needy who came to stand for the unequal struggle with disease!
